Baron Guy Ullens, the Belgian collector and the propagandist of actual Chinese painting, has opened in Beijing his own Ullens Center for Contemporary Art.
To collect own representative collection of actual Chinese art, baron Ullens and his wife Miriam have parted with the most part of their European works. In new center UCCA works of artists "Generation'85", the first countercultural phenomenon in modern China are well presented. First exhibition in Ullens' center is devoted to all of them. Many of the presented works in the Peoples Republic of China are exhibited for the first time.
In the future in UCCA it is planned to spend exhibitions both Chinese, and the western contemporar artists.
