The biggest in the world big dipper - height in 208 meters - will appear in 2009 in China capital. The wheel named "Beijing Sky Boat" will rotate 48 capsules, each of which is calculated on 40 persons. Construction will cost for Chinese in 99 million dollars.
On The Great Wheel company's website, which is engaged in construction of the attraction, it is said that it was planned to open it in August, 2008, to the beginning of Olympiad. However, according to sources in the company, construction is delayed. After opening the Beijing wheel its reduced 165-meter copy will be constructed in Singapore.
For today the biggest wheel in the world is considered British attraction London Eye which height makes 135 meters.
